[What Power can Heal and Yes –Raise the Dead!]

[The medical profession protects it’s own medical practitioners. Many times they will treat the effect and ignore the affecting source of dis-ease. The freedom to choose natural treatments and cures is viewed with ridicule and disdain. Yet much of "modern" medicine has its roots in native people of various cultures who found successful remedies in the herbs of fields and woods. "Ask your doctor" is a common statement that assumes that all people have "an attending physician that they patronize regularly." If that is your mind set, you probably don’t need to read further.]

"The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no God...’" Psalms 14:1. [Belief in a Creator is paramount for insight into living an abundant life.] "…I (Jesus) am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." John 10:10. [Many people will use vain reasoning seeking to determine what is truth!] "…Your (God’s) word is truth!" John 17:17. [Do you believe the Holy Bible is the inspired word of God?] "All scripture is given by inspiration of God…" 2 Timothy 3:16. [Who designed the body to heal its self?] "Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: (3) Who forgives all your iniquities (sins); who heals all your diseases." Psalms 103:2-3.

[If you are seeking God’s intervention or healing in your life –Jesus gives you some instruction. It appears that Jesus never refused to heal anybody, however read what He said to two blind men who asked for mercy (healing):] "And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy (forgiveness of sin and healing) on us. (28) And when He was come into the house, the blind men came to Him: and Jesus said unto them, ‘Believe you that I am able to do this?’ They said unto Him, ‘Yes, Lord.’ (29) Then He touched their eyes, saying, ‘According to your faith be it unto you.’ (30) And their eyes were opened; and Jesus directly charged them, saying, ‘See that no man knows it (don’t tell anyone).’ (31) But they, when they were departed, (they) spread abroad His fame in all that country." Matthew 9:27-31. [When you receive healing -give God the credit! He loves You! Jesus died for us when we were yet sinners.] "But God approved His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8 [Will God heal today?] "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever." Hebrews 13:8. [What should you do if you are sick and who should you ask for healing?] "Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: (15) And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him." James 5:14-15. [There must be faith for healing to occur. Must we avoid sinning after being forgiven of sin?] "…And Jesus said unto her, ‘Neither do I condemn you: go, and sin no more.’" John 8:11.

[What if there are no elders of the church (Ekklesia and other flocks of like faith and works) near your bedside or home?] "And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: (12) So that from his body were brought unto the sick, handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them. Acts 19:11-12.

[Open a bible and read John 11:1-45. Pay particular attention to:] "…if you would believe, you should see the glory of God?" John 11:40. [Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. Then because of covetness, the religious leaders:] "…from that day forth they took counsel together for to put Him (Jesus) to death." John 11:53.

"Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. (2) (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.) (3) Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, 'Lord, behold, he whom you love is sick.' (4) When Jesus heard that, he said, 'This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.' (5) Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus. (6) When He had heard therefore that he was sick, He abode two days still in the same place where He was. (7) Then after that said he to his disciples, 'Let us go into Judaea again.' (8) His disciples said unto Him, 'Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and go you thither again?' (9) Jesus answered, 'Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbles not, because he sees the light of this world. (10) But if a man walk in the night, he stumbles, because there is no light in him.' (11) These things said He: and after that He said unto them, 'Our friend Lazarus sleeps; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.' (12) Then said his disciples, 'Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well.' (13) Howbeit Jesus spoke of his death: but they thought that He had spoken of taking of rest in sleep. (14) Then said Jesus unto them plainly, 'Lazarus is dead. (15) And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent you may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him.' (16) Then said Thomas, which is called Didymus, unto his fellow disciples, 'Let us also go, that we may die with him.' (17) Then when Jesus came, He found that he had lain in the grave four days already. (18) Now Bethany was near unto Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off: (19) And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother. (20) Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met Him: but Mary sat still in the house. (21) Then said Martha unto Jesus, 'Lord, if You had been here, my brother had not died. (22) But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou will ask of God, God will give it to You.' (23) Jesus said unto her, 'Your brother shall rise again.' (24) Martha said unto Him,' I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.' (25) Jesus said unto her, 'I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: (26) And whosoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Believe you this?' (27) She said unto him, 'Yes, Lord: I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.' (28) And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, 'The Master is come, and calls for you.' (29) As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly, and came unto Him. (30) Now Jesus was not yet come into the town, but was in that place where Martha met Him. (31) The Jews then which were with her in the house, and comforted her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up hastily and went out, followed her, saying, 'She goes unto the grave to weep there.' (32) Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, 'Lord, if You had been here, my brother had not died.' (33) When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, He groaned in the spirit, and was troubled, (34) And said, 'Where have you laid him?' They said unto Him, 'Lord, come and see.' (35) Jesus wept. (36) Then said the Jews, 'Behold how He loved him!' (37) And some of them said, 'Could not this Man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?' (38) Jesus therefore again groaning in Himself came to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it. (39) Jesus said, 'Take you away the stone.' Martha, the sister of him that was dead, said unto Him, 'Lord, by this time he stinks: for he has been dead four days.' (40) Jesus said unto her, 'Said I not unto you, that, if you would believe, you should see the glory of God?' (41) Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, 'Father, I thank you that You have heard Me. (42) And I knew that You heard Me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that You have sent Me.' (43) And when He thus had spoken, He cried with a loud voice, 'Lazarus, come forth.' (44) And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with grave clothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus said unto them, 'Loose him, and let him go.' (45) Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on Him. John 11:1-45.

[If you have asked for healing and are receiving a personal letter from the Ekklesia Church of God; you will find an enclosed cotton handkerchief (piece of cotton cloth that has been anointed with olive oil representing the Holy Spirit.) Before the anointing we have had earnest heartfelt prayer on your behalf for the intercession and healing of the sick.] "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man (or woman) avails much (is powerful, and it can help a lot)." James 5:16

[In a private setting, if possible, come before God the Father in prayer and place the handkerchief upon your sick and ask in faith for God’s intervention, forgiveness, and healing. After prayer and applying the cloth as Paul’s example shows in Acts, simply burn or dispose of the cloth. It is not the cloth that heals. God heals and does not want us to keep some idol, claiming that it healed us!] "Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen." 1 John 5:21.

Enclosure: Requested Anointed Cloth (Send a self-addressed and stamped envelope for return mailing if you are requesting prayer for healing and want an anointed cloth sent to you.)
