Weeds in God's Garden

Introduction

Are you a spiritual weed? Are you a hitch-hiker traveling within or about a church body? What is your purpose in your relationships with other people? Do you serve Christ or evil?

Are you without excuse claiming the lie that we do not have a Creator? Do you claim that the Bible is a collection of "fairy tales?" If so... News is that God is going to "Take You Out!"

"Hypocrites! Isaiah has prophesied well concerning you, saying, 'These people have drawn near to Me with their mouths, and with their lips they honor Me; but their hearts are far away from Me. For they worship Me in vain, teaching for doctrine the commandments of men.' And after calling the multitude to Him, He said to them, 'Hear, and understand. That which goes into the mouth does not defile the man; but that which comes out of his mouth, this defiles the man.' Then His [Jesus'] disciples came to Him and said, 'Do You realize that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?' But He answered and said, 'Every plant that My heavenly Father has not planted shall be rooted up.' " –Mat 15:7-13. To learn what happens to the tares who become rooted up plants, read the study: "The Rapture is a False Teaching."

We make no apology for expounding the TRUTH. God Exists! The Bible is the Word of God, and thus we will freely quote from it!

Satan has Blinded the Minds...

2 Corinthians 4:3-6 "But if our gospel is hidden, it is hidden to those who are perishing; In whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of those who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, Who is the image of God, should shine unto them. For we do not preach our own selves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake Because it is God Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, Who shined into our hearts the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."

How Tares Affect God's People

Tares blind people, lie, dupe, choke and destroy. They are Satan's seed planted to harm and destroy as many of God's seed as possible. They have no love for God or His laws. Their purpose is to harm and undermine.

As we approach and enter the Great Tribulation, God will remove the tares, to wake up the rest for refining and purifying. It will be the last chance to get it right, to repent and get on board His ark of fire. A believer's greatest persecution comes from others who pose themselves as believers. Some people are Satan's outright pawns determined to cause chaos and turmoil in the believer's life. Jesus refers to them as tares sowed by Satan himself and they are his seed, children of destruction and chaos.

Ephesians 6:12 "Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but…against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." So beware! An understanding of how to properly recognize and respond to them is a mark of spiritual maturity. Jude 1:12 calls these people "hidden reefs in your love feasts."

How Satan's Seed Develops

Some ask, "How can Satan, who cannot reproduce, have 'seed'?" The answer, lies in the spiritual realm. Galatians 3:26-29 "For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. v:27 For as many as were baptized into Christ, you put on Christ. v:28 There cannot be Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is no male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. v:29 And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise." No matter what their nationality or ethnic makeup, members of God's church become Abraham's spiritual descendants because, as Jesus says, "Abraham's children."

John 8:40-41 & 44. Jesus explains Satan has spiritual offspring also: "But now you [those in the crowd] seek to kill Me.... You do the deeds of your father...." v:44 "You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do...." Satan's seed are those who do Satan's will, in fact they make a deliberate conscientious choice to rebel and disobey God.

Weeds are False Prophets

Ephesians 6:10-12, "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."

A tare (zizanion) was a darnel weed prevalent in the Palestine biome. It resembles wheat and is largely indistinguishable from wheat until it matures and bears fruit. Opposite the taste of wheat, in the end it is choking, bitter and inedible. Tares are disguised in the beginning as they mature they begin to overtake the valuable plants that surround them. They blossom into false leaders.

God's Wrath on Unrighteousness

Acts 5:1–3 "But a man named Ananias, with his wife Sapphira, sold a piece of property, and kept back some of the price for himself, with his wife's full knowledge, and bringing a portion of it, he laid it at the apostles' feet. But Peter said, 'Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back some of the price of the land?' "

Matthew 7:15 "Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." Matthew 7:19–23 "So then, you will know them by their fruits. Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.' "

Romans 1:20-23 "For the invisible things of Him are perceived from the creation of the world, being understood by the things that were made —both His eternal power and Godhead —so that they are without excuse; Because when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful; but they became vain in their own reasonings, and their foolish hearts were darkened. While professing themselves to be the wise ones, they became fools." (Further study Romans 1: 18-32).

False Ministers & Tares are Deceptive

It is the fruit of their actions. He who does the will of Jesus' Father is a proper saint. However —tares have a blatant disrespect for the law of the land and the laws of God. 2 Corinthians 11:14-15 "For even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. It is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds."

Galatians 1:9-10 "I have said it before, and I will say it again. God will punishanyone who preaches anything different from what you have already believed. v:10 I am not trying to please people. I want to please God. Do you think I am trying to please people? If I were doing that, I would not be a servant of Christ.

God's Law is Holy

"Therefore, the law is indeed holy, and the commandment holy and righteous and good." –Rom 7:12. 1 Timothy 1:3–11 "When I was leaving for Macedonia, I asked you to stay on in Ephesus and warn certain people there to stop spreading their false teachings. v:4 You needed to warn them to stop wasting their time on senseless stories and endless lists of ancestors. Such things only cause arguments. They don't help anyone to do God's work that can only be done by faith. v:5 You must teach people to have genuine love, as well as a good conscience and true faith. v:6 There are some who have given up these for nothing but empty talk. v:7 They want to be teachers of the Law of Moses. But they don't know what they are talking about, even though they think they do. v:8 We know that the Law is good, if it is used in the right way. v:9 We also understand that it wasn't given to control people who please God, but to control lawbreakers, criminals, godless people, and sinners. It is for wicked and evil people, and for murderers, who would even kill their own parents. v:10 The Law was written for people who are sexual perverts or who live as homosexuals or are kidnappers or liars or won't tell the truth in court. It is for anything else that opposes the correct teaching v:11 of the good news that the glorious and wonderful live God has given me."

Spiritual Armor is a Requirement

Ephesians 6:12 "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." The battle is a spiritual one, so someone who is not spiritually mature or armed cannot effectively fight in it. Ephesians 6:13 "So put on all the armor that God gives. Then when that evil day comes, you will be able to defend yourself. And when the battle is over, you will still be standing firm." (Be ready! Put on the whole armor of God, belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shod with gospel of peace; shield of faith, helmet of salvation.) vs:18 "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, watching to this very thing with all perseverance and supplication for all saints."

Maturity Requires Vigilance to Fight

Spiritual maturity and a bible understanding reveal there is satanic lying, deception, disguise, and false moral superiority. In constant play in the nation’s capital, our state and home community. Only the spiritually-discerning can see through the deception and lies via the Holy spirit and will be able to deal with it effectively, and not be sidetracked by Satan. Tares want true believers to be improperly focused and consumed by fights, This is a very cunning tactic of Satan: to distract you from what is most important! Our battle is not against flesh and blood! 2 Peter 2:1-2 "But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned."

These are those, among you (tares will be a part of your everyday life). politicians, your boss, a child's teacher, a relative, a neighbor and yes in some case people in you church fellowship. Scripture helps you to see people for who they really are! Not everyone who names the name of Christ is of God's seed –these are those who malign the truth. Tares are Satan's tools to lead you and our nation into the pit of Hell. Fake ministers who speak in opposition to biblical truth may deceive your colleagues, but will they deceive you? Do you have the spiritual maturity to not only identify, but admonish them? Can you, like Jesus, see through their various forms of deception —and say, "Get behind Me, Satan!"Can you bring light to darkness?

1 John 1:8 "If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us." Some tares are so arrogant they don't think they’re ever wrong! If you know someone who names the name of Christ, but is never wrong, be warned, they're probably not the real deal and in fact controlled by demonic influences such as Ahab and Jezabel! True Saints are characterized by humility and are willing to be corrected.

People in Authority May be Evil

3 John 9 -11 "I wrote; but Diotrephes, who loves to be first among them, does not accept what we say. For this reason, if I come, I will call attention to his deeds which he does, unjustly accusing us with wicked words; and not satisfied with this, he himself does not receive the brethren, either, and he forbids those who desire to do so and puts them out of the church. Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The one who does good is of God; the one who does evil has not seen God." Diotrephes vs:9 who was the head of this church (not Christ!) ran the show. Even though he was the church leader, John labels him as evil, someone who has not seen God.

Revelation 2:2 "I know your deeds and your toil and perseverance, and that you cannot tolerate evil men, and you put to the test those who call themselves apostles, and they are not, and you found them to be false." The tares at the church at Ephesus had given themselves the title of apostles. Jesus in Revelation 1:1 sets the record straight: "and they are not." 1 Timothy 1:20. Who, among the other things we've learned about them, give themselves fancy titles. Every true mature believer will have the training, spiritual discernment, and courage to identify false preachers: "You call yourself an apostle? You are not!" Matthew 7:20 is this: "You will know them by their fruits."

Beware of Bad Seeds

Tares will mimic the wheat as closely as possible before blooming, in order to outwardly appear similar and gain a following. "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." –1 John 4:1. 2 Corinthians 11:13 "For such ones are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. v:14 Did not even Satan marvelously transform himself into an angel of light?" Tares often project moral superiority and lack basic kindness. Tares fight the wrong battles and possess no real interest in changing the hearts of people through the love of Christ. They are only interested in control and power.

3 John 1:11 "Beloved, do not imitate the bad, but the good. He who does good is from God, but he who does evil has not seen God." Revelation 2:2. Have the courage to call out fake spiritual leaders. Don't be impressed nor intimidated by their self-titling or fancy garb: In reality they are nothing but tares!

Take Time to Examine Fruits

Lastly, are you a tare? Are these previous, descriptive characteristics indicative of you? "Examine yourselves," are you truly walking according to God's purpose, will and in truth, righteousness and faith! Jesus Christ is in you —unless indeed you fail the test?

Galatians 5:19-21 Lists characteristics that are in opposition to the fruits of the Spirit such as "…enmities, strife, jealousy, disputes, dissension's, factions, and envying, adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, fighting, angers, rivalries, heresies, murders, drunkenness, reveling, and things like these; of which I tell you before, as I also said before, that they who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."

Matthew 13:36 Jesus "left the crowds and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him and said, 'Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.' Jesus sent the crowds away. When they were alone, the disciples asked him about the parable of the tares. Specifically asking him, to make it more clear." Sometimes we need to get away from crowds, our phones, and media, and find a quiet spot.

Good and Bad Seeds are Mixed

Matthew 13:38 The tares were from the evil one. "And the field is the world. The good seed, are the sons of the kingdom saints or true believers, and the tares are the sons of the evil one." The field is the world or the system of mankind. The current behavior and order of human society. Within this order, the Lord scattered the seeds of the "sons of the God." Then, into that "world" where the good seed was scattered, Jesus said the tares were also mixed in. The tares were the offspring of the evil one. Matthew 13:39 "And the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels."

God has a real, and personal enemy. Satan is a real enemy, and he goes by many names. The devil is a real foe who confronted Jesus when He went into the desert to prepare for the start of His ministry, Matthew 4:1.

God Seals and Protects

It is just prior to tribulation when God seals His chosen and elected Saints from what will befall the rest of humanity during the tribulation. NOTE Men believe the tribulation is a Death Nell, which for some it can be, but for others it is an awaking, –while many will scorn, scoff and reject the truth. The sealed saints will still be proclaiming the gospel as well as the two witnesses that will appear on the scene for that three and one-half year period. (Matthew 24:22 " 'And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.' ") It is a time of purifying and refining for others. Some will awaken to how duped and lied to they have been. They repent and choose salvation and truth, even if it means their own death or that of loved ones. Others will still reject, mock, and scorn the truth. They will listen to enemy, the Anti-Christ who will be spewing lies and causing great wonders, healing, and miracles to occur. God also pours out His Holy Spirit on His elect who will be speaking and doing even greater miracles and wonders that will make the enemies' signs and wonders pale into comparison.

Judgment Cannot be Avoided

The entire plan of God culminates with judgment. God's plan for the Church, Israel, the unbelieving Gentiles, etc. will face the end-time harvest. Romans 13:11 "Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed."

Matthew 13:40 "The tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age." This is the point in which the squeamish or the skeptical will want to turn away. Jesus says, that just as the tares in the story are burned, we can complain and say such things as, "My God wouldn't do such a thing." But we need to pay attention to the words and warning of the Lord here. His angels will remove the stumbling stones (tares). Matthew 13:41 "The Son of man shall send forth His angels, and they shall gather out of His kingdom all the offenders and those who are practicing lawlessness." This army of God’s angels is waiting on the call. In the last days, they will be sent from heaven to remove the tares forever. Tares are made of sinful human flesh and purposely stand in the way of God's purposes. John 8:44.

Satan Has Evil Plans

Satan wants his followers to get in the way and try to cause God's people to fall. He wants to destroy the faith of every True Believer. The sooner we understand that, the sooner we become more serious about strengthening our faith. The ones who commit lawlessness, follow the lawless one at the end of the age. That refers to the Anti-Christ. He maybe a human or appear as a human but is indwelled by Satan in the last days. He will lead the final rebellion against the plan of God.

Matthew 13:42-43 The gnashing of the teeth. "And will throw them into the furnace of fire. In that place, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." It describes what a person does in reaction to severe pain. They are tossed into the furnace of fire. v:43 "Then the righteous shall shine out like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear." The righteous are not "good people" any more than anyone else. It's the choices they make and how they respond to the laws and truth of God during their lives.

A Personal Responsibility

It's what we do with what God has given us. We know that in a person's occupation, one can choose to excel or just do enough to avoid getting fired. In the world of sports, an athlete can strive to exceed the efforts of his teammates in order to gain a higher degree of success. In life, we make our own choices based on how hard we want to try. In spiritual matters, it's the same but far more important. The character of each person is seen in the lives they live out.

Matthew 5:45 "Then you will be acting like your Father in heaven. He makes the sun rise on both good and bad people. And he sends rain for the ones who do right and for the ones who do wrong." The fruit of our lives is seen by the actions, choices, and paths we choose to take. We will have no one to blame but ourselves if the gnash our teeth at the end of the path. God's end time Sealed Saints Revelation 7: this includes the 144,000 households of Israel and the gentile converted multitude will be still be spreading the gospel to the awoken world. A good many evil tares in the world will be removed in whatever manner God deems. There will still be wicked and evil people who hate God and His truth but they cannot touch God's sealed elect. They might bring us to courts or to even Satan himself (death) but God will put into our mouth what to say to refute all he or any demonic person or being may say; and they will not be allowed to kill us. Luke 12:11-12 and Psalms 91. Two witnesses will also speak (Revelation 11) at this time and likely appear to be spiritual possibly two Arch-angels or two of the already resurrected Saints from the first fruits. Matthew 27:52-52, Hebrews 11, Hebrews 9:27, and Revelation 14.

We Become Glorified

"Now without faith it is impossible to please God. For it is mandatory for the one who comes to God to believe that He exists, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." –Heb 11:6. A glorious destiny awaits those who sacrifice now for what lies in the future. We will shine like stars, Jesus explains, Daniel 12:3 "Everyone who has been wise will shine as bright as the sky above, and everyone who has led others to please God will shine like the stars."
