"Set up a place outside the camp to be used as a toilet area. And make sure that you have a small shovel in your equipment. When you go out to the toilet area, use the shovel to dig a hole. Then, after you relieve yourself, bury the waste in the hole. You must keep your camp clean of filthy and disgusting things. The LORD is always present in your camp, ready to rescue you and give you victory over your enemies. But if He sees something disgusting in your camp, He may turn around and leave." (Deuteronomy 23:12-14) [Yes, God pays attention to details; do you?]

"Obey God's message! Don't fool yourselves by just listening to it. If you hear the message and don't obey it, you are like people who stare at themselves in a mirror and forget what they look like as soon as they leave. But you must never stop looking at the perfect law that sets you free. God will bless you in everything you do, if you listen and obey, and don't just hear and forget." (James 1:22-25) [Will this message affect you positively?]

"Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men." (Acts 5:29) [Politically correct may be satanic!]

Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-22)

"You shall not add unto the words which I command you, neither shall you diminish anything from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you." (Deuteronomy 4:2) [Enough said!]

"And, behold, one came and said unto Him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And He said unto him, 'Why call you Me good? There is none good but one, that is, God: but if you will enter into life, keep the commandments.' " (Matthew 19:16-17) [Enough said!]

"Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." (Revelation 14:12)

"Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. (Romans 12:9-21) [Rules of conduct; also God will have His day of Wrath!]

"Be sincere in your love for others. Hate everything that is evil and hold tight to everything that is good. Love each other as brothers and sisters and honor others more than you do yourself. Never give up. Eagerly follow the Holy Spirit and serve the Lord. Let your hope make you glad. Be patient in time of trouble and never stop praying. Take care of God's needy people and welcome strangers into your home. Ask God to bless everyone who mistreats you. Ask him to bless them and not to curse them. When others are happy, be happy with them, and when they are sad, be sad. Be friendly with everyone. Don't be proud and feel that you are smarter than others. Make friends with ordinary people. Don't mistreat someone who has mistreated you. But try to earn the respect of others, and do your best to live at peace with everyone. Dear friends, don't try to get even. Let God take revenge. In the Scriptures the Lord says, "I am the one to take revenge and pay them back." The Scriptures also say, "If your enemies are hungry, give them something to eat. And if they are thirsty, give them something to drink. This will be the same as piling burning coals on their heads." Don't let evil defeat you, but defeat evil with good." Jesus answered, "Anyone who starts plowing and keeps looking back isn't worth a thing to God's kingdom!" (Luke 9:62 CEV) [In faith, go forward!]

Remember Lot's wife. (33) "Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it." (Luke 17:32-33 KJVR)

"And you shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved." (Mark 13:13 KJVR)

"Dear friends, God is good. So I beg you to offer your bodies to Him as a living sacrifice, pure and pleasing. That's the most sensible way to serve God. (2) Don't be like the people of this world, but let God change the way you think. Then you will know how to do everything that is good and pleasing to him. (3) I realize how kind God has been to me, and so I tell each of you not to think you are better than you really are. Use good sense and measure yourself by the amount of faith that God has given you. (4) A body [family] is made up of many parts, and each of them has its own use. (5) That's how it is with us. There are many of us, but we each are part of the body of Christ, as well as part of one another. (6) God has also given each of us different gifts to use. If we can prophesy, we should do it according to the amount of faith we have. (7) If we can serve others, we should serve. If we can teach, we should teach. "I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and you shall sow [plant] your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it." (Leviticus 26:16) [God can choose to bring punishment on people!]

"And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits." (Leviticus 26:20) [God can choose to cause crops to fail as punishment on people!]

"Thou shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain: for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that takes His name in vain." (Exodus 20:7 & Deuteronomy 5:11) [Many people blatantly curse God by word or deed.]

"…I hate vain thoughts: but your law do I love." (Psalms 119:113)

"…Except the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman wakes [stays awake watching] but in vain." (Psalms 127:1) [Jesus will build His church! (See Mathew 16:18)]

"He that tills [works the soil for planting] his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that follows after vain persons shall have poverty enough." (Proverbs 12:11 & 28:19) ["…They which lead you cause you to err…" (Isaiah 3:12)]

"There are two things, Lord, I want you to do for me before I die: (8) Make me absolutely honest and don't let me be too poor or too rich. Give me just what I need. (9) If I have too much to eat, I might forget about you; if I don't have enough, I might steal and disgrace your name." (Proverbs 30:7-9 CEV) [To have a balance of provisions is indeed a blessing from God.]

"Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that fears [respects] the LORD, she shall be praised." (Proverbs 31:30) [Good woman; praise God!]

"For who knows what is good for man in this life, all the days of his vain life which he spends as a shadow? For who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?" (Ecclesiastes 6:12) [Life is soon so frail and fleeting.]

"Your sacrifices are worthless, and incense is disgusting. I can't stand the evil you do on your New Moon Festivals or on your Sabbaths and other times of worship. (14) I hate your New Moon Festivals and all others as well. They are a heavy burden I am tired of carrying." (Isaiah 1:13-14 CEV) [We need to be aware of any celebrations disapproved by God and avoid them.]

"For the customs of the people are vain: for one cuts a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe." (Jeremiah 10:3)

"Thus says the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD." (Jeremiah 23:16)

"Woe to the rebellious children, says the LORD, that take counsel, but not of Me; and that cover with a covering, but not of My spirit, that they may add sin to sin:" (Isaiah 30:1) ["…rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubborness is as iniquity and idolatry…"(1 Samuel 15:23)]

(Isaiah 45:18) [Why have a theory of evolution? "…The fool has said in his heart, There is no God…" (See Psalms 14:1 & Psalms 53:1)]

"Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing [handling] the word of truth. (16) But shun [avoid] profane and vain babblings [pointless discussions]: for they will increase unto more ungodliness." (2 Timothy 2:15-16 KJVR)

"For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:" (Titus 1:10) [Jews etc. don’t want to teach Jesus’ truth.]

"But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain." (Titus 3:9)

"If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridles [controls] not his tongue, but deceives his own heart, this man's religion is vain." (James 1:26) [People speak from the feelings within their mind and from their emotions.]

"A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks." (Luke 6:45) [Your character cannot be hidden forever, it will be exposed!]

"But will you know, Oh vain man, that faith without works is dead?" (James 2:20) [God wants us to serve Him with a willing and fervent spirit.]

"I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were cold or hot. (16) Since you are lukewarm and neither hot nor cold, I am going to spit you out of my mouth." (Revelation 3:15-16) [Are you too laid back?]

"Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey-either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness?" (Romans 6:16 ISV) [Whom we obey is a personal choice we can not avoid making!]

"And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works." (Revelation 20:12) [God is keeping score!]

"His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant: you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things: enter you into the joy of your lord." (Matthew 25:21 & 23) [Praise God!]

"And cast you the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth." (Mathew 25:30) [It is your personal responsibility and choice to not become a wicked and slothful (lazy) servant! Do not blame others for your failure to worship and serve God!]
